The personal data provided by the Customer in this Form will be processed by the companies in the Global Blue Group, tax authorities, customs and refund agents and such bank or credit card company designated by the Customer in this Form, for the purpose of performing a refund of value added tax (VAT), which includes the use of the personal data to prevent the misuse of the service of refunding value added tax (VAT). The Customer’s personal data may also be processed by companies in the Global Blue Group for the purpose of marketing of consumer products such as clothing, beauty products, jewellery and other luxury accessories, by means of ordinary mail, email, sms and telephone. The Customer’s personal data is necessary for the refund of value added tax (VAT). If the Customer does not provide this data, Global Blue is not able to refund the VAT.

Providing the data for marketing purposes is voluntary. Global Blue Holdings AB will be responsible for how the Customer’s data is processed. The personal data will be retained and/or utilised by the processing entities for the time that is necessary to perform the VAT refund and no longer than three years for marketing purposes.

The Customer is entitled to access his/her personal data to verify its accuracy and completeness as well as the purposes for which the information is being used and the names of those persons to whom the data has been disclosed. The Customer is also entitled to demand correction or deletion of the personal data or object against any processing for marketing purposes.
