Play With Bags, an artistic and innovative addition to Kipling’s collections, marks the quality bag brand’s 25th anniversary. The collection consists of unique interpretations of Kipling’s existing bags, which have been remodelled by eight artists from Germany, Spain, the UK, the US, Mexico, China, France and Belgium. One of our favourites is the work of Belgian photographer Alex Salinas; his playful creation, an oversized monkey’s head, was inspired by Kipling’s monkey motif. British photographer Rankin has contributed a heart-shaped backpack, while Paul Graves from the US has created a work of art by folding and reshaping the bags, using their laces as whiskers and zips as eyes. Spanish artist Javier Mariscal takes Kipling fans on a dream-like journey with a lightweight travel pack featuring a Bohemian print. Visit 25yearskipling.com, the brand’s website dedicated to its anniversary projects, to become part of Kipling’s expansive palette of creativity and imagination.
