Prestigious Turkish department store Vakko recently opened a store in Istanbul’s 550-year-old Grand Bazaar, becoming the first major fashion house to commence business in the city’s most famous shopping emporium. The small-scale, boutique-style store focuses on the products for which the brand is best known, including own-label silk ties and scarves, bags and accessories, and Vakko chocolates.
