Kağıthane (House of Paper) is the perfect place to pick up a unique souvenir or a whimsical gift. The tiny boutique is chock-full of paper products, from cards and notebooks to papier-mâché bowls and origami necklaces. Equally imaginative non-paper items include canvas bags and delicate ceramic jewellery pieces. Inspired partly by quintessential symbols of Istanbul, the collection is created by owner and graphic artist Emine Tusavul, with contributions from promising young designers.
