Madrid Street Style 2012: grunge

The 90s revival was widespread at Madrid Fashion Week as acid-wash jeans, customised trainers and floaty slip dresses were teamed with layers of leather and rock-star sunglasses. Hair was left loose or hidden under vintage hats while make-up emphasised the lips, with pillar-box red a popular choice. Laid-back poses were complemented by relaxed separates, many oversized and draped, livened up by colour-pop accessories.
