MEROLA

The Merola family has been making gloves for four generations. Today in Alberto Merola’s atelier in Rome, 59 skilled artisans create more than 20,000 pairs of gloves each year, destined for the world’s finest retailers, often under brand names such as Brioni, Ferragamo and Fratelli Rossetti. The company focuses on work for the cinema and its pieces have been worn by actresses such as Audrey Hepburn (Roman Holiday), Nicole Kidman (Cold Mountain, Phantom of the Opera) and Laetitia Casta.
