Technology giant Apple’s ongoing European expansion has finally reached Hamburg in the form of a lavish new store on Jungfernstieg. The new showroom occupies a cavernous two-floor space that was formerly home to one of the city’s biggest jewellers and is Apple’s seventh outlet in Germany. Technophiles can drop in to check out the new iPhone 4S, the company’s most powerful smartphone to date. Four million were sold on the launch weekend alone; this is the year’s must-have gadget.
