Where were you born?
In a town near Frankfurt where I still live.
What’s best about your neighbourhood?
I’m in Frankfurt city in less than 30 minutes but I live in a quiet place with lots of beautiful nature, so I have everything I need within reach.
Which are your favourite Frankfurt stores?
There’s an Urban Outfitters opening soon, which I can’t wait for. Hayashi has beyond amazing things but unfortunately it’s a bit too expensive for me.
And your favourite restaurants?
Die Kuh die lacht is a great burger bar. Other restaurants which I love are Garibaldi, Ima and Riz.
Do you have a favourite local café?
The Place To Be. The interior is just so much fun, you always meet interesting people and you can order amazing soups from Souper, which is next to the Place To Be. And the hot chocolate is the best!
Where do you take out-of-town friends?
I always take visitors to the Maintower. It’s one of the highest buildings in Frankfurt and you have a breathtaking view over the whole city if you go to the observation deck on top!
Do you have a favourite Frankfurt walk?
A walk along the Mainufer is always beautiful.
Which do you think is Frankfurt’s best museum?
Frankfurt has lots of great museums! I think it varies depending on the exhibitions, but the MMK is great and the Filmmuseum is always fun.
Can you recommend any good hotels in Frankfurt?
Since I live near Frankfurt I don’t usually stay in hotels there, but I’ve just stayed at the 25hours by Levi’s hotel, which was perfect!
