Karl’s Kitchen at Breuninger department store
Refurbished late last year, Karl’s Kitchen is Stuttgart’s hottest post-shopping eatery and can be found in the E. Breuninger department store. After perusing cashmere items by Brunello Cucinelli and denim by Pepe Jeans in the fashion sections, retire to the epic 400-seat restaurant. Named after King Charles of Württemburg, it boasts two open kitchens, serving regional and international dishes, with the choice of à la carte or self-service. Open six days a week, there is also a market square and a children’s play area. Cooking classes are available for budding chefs.
