Bridging the gap between design store and gallery, Gestalten Space on Sophienstrasse is an intriguing venue that’s worth discovering. The 350-square-metre boutique provides shoppers with the opportunity to enjoy a number of cutting edge creative processes. Solo exhibitions by conceptual artists and designers are displayed and the store also sells novel homewares and gadgets from experimental labels such as Artecnica, House Industries and Medicom Toys. The Gestalten company publishes over 400 design publications which are sold alongside hard-to-find archive titles.
