Caramelo was founded over 40 years ago in Galicia, northwest Spain, aiming to produce waterproof garments of the highest quality. Its first lines for men were Tommy Harrods trousers, Chelton jackets and Yale shirts. The brand soon widened its scope, introduced women’s collections, and is now strongly positioned both in the Spanish market and internationally, with 800 outlets across the world. In 2009, Caramelo took over the Antonio Pernas brand; Caramelo by Antonio Pernas is now the label of the company’s formal collections for women. Caramelo creats fashion for men and women aged 35 to 55 who are seeking quality, elegance and comfort.
